I offer one-to-one tuition for children, teenagers and adults in English, English Literature and Poetry.
This can take place either face-to-face or through online Skype or Zoom conversations.
I have previously taught English Literature and Creative Writing at degree level to undergraduate students at Aberystwyth University (including engaging in private assistance for final year undergraduate students and Master's level students) and have also taught at a specialist provision for children with ASCs. In this latter post I served as a teacher of English (secondary level with GCSE and Functional Skills), Maths, Music, Poetry and History.
I believe that the learning process should be focussed around the individual and that the study of English should return to its origins as a tool for empowering students, rather than confusing them.
My MA and PhD specialisms include Poetry, 'Writing History' and Word & Music Studies.
